Why Confidentum
Confidentum is a specialist accounting and tax advisory firm in Riga for foreign-owned companies, subsidiaries, branches and businesses with cross-border operations. We help international businesses operate compliantly in Latvia.

What sets us apart
Specialised in foreign-owned companies
Foreign-owned companies, subsidiaries and branches are the core of our practice, not a side line. We understand what head offices, group controllers and foreign directors need from their Latvian entity.
Experience supporting international groups
We work to group reporting calendars, charts of accounts and accounting policies, and we coordinate directly with group finance, tax teams and auditors.
Practical tax and VAT expertise
Our advice is tied to how your accounts and filings actually work, so recommendations can be implemented and defended, not just read.
Strong English communication
Advice, reporting and day-to-day communication are delivered in clear, professional English, so nothing is lost between Riga and your head office.
One person accountable
Every client has their own experienced accountant, who personally reviews key deliverables. You always know who to contact.
Experience with complex VAT scenarios
Reverse charge, chain and triangular transactions, consignment stock, OSS, IOSS and customs VAT are everyday work for our team.
Our commitments to international clients
International Client Focus
Our client base is built around foreign-owned companies, subsidiaries and branches operating in Latvia.
Cross-Border VAT Expertise
Intra-EU supplies, OSS/IOSS, reverse charge and customs VAT are our everyday work.
English-Speaking Team
All communication, reporting and advice is delivered in clear, professional English.
